Friends Take Love of Fly Fishing to the Internet
Logan, UT (PRWEB) August 13, 2008 -- "Bryan and I both have a passion for fly fishing," explains Victor Nelson, "and had the opportunity to purchase a fly fishing business that had gone out of business We decided to re-open the business and take it in a new direction."
That was a little over three years ago. Since then, Nelson and Whitaker have taken their passion for the great outdoors by launching RoundRocks online, as well as its sister blog, www.FlyRodReviewBlog.com.
"We certainly want to expand our internet presence and are adding more guiding and instructional services," says Nelson. "We want to provide information that goes beyond just product information - fishing tips, techniques and fishing reports. We also want to provide some skill development information as well, especially for young anglers and people new to the sport."
"The site has also attracted a variety of friendly customers, thanks in part to the duo's congenial personalities. "We've got the best customers in the world," says Whitaker. "Customers from nearly all 50 states have been in our retail shop, as well as customers from 12 other countries.
"I told a new employee that I like to put in a personal note with every order I fill," adds Nelson, "just to establish that we're real people and that our customers can contact us with questions. Customer service is very important to us."
With a positive attitude, it's also no wonder that www.RoundRocks.com also donates to numerous local non-profits, supports a host of wildlife protection groups and river protection efforts and has helped spearhead a local Womens' Fly Fishing Club.
Nelson does not tip toe around the fact that while their business is a focal point, that the preservation and improvement of the environment is a paramount concern.

Fly Fishing Rods
One important part of fly fishing is the rod. A fishing rod or also called the fishing pole is always associated with the sport called angling. Choosing the right rod for your fly fishing experience is very important. The right combination of reel and rod also matters heavily as well.
Fly Fishing Rods, Getting The Right Action
Choosing the correct fishing tackle rod depends on the type of fishing you intend doing, and is the first step in enjoying fly fishing. Fly fishing rods come in many different lengths and line weights and are matched to the environment you will be fishing in.
Fly Fishing Rods – Getting The Bends
Picking a fly fishing rod is a tricky endeavor. Do you go with your ego, expected fishing environment or something else? While length is a factor, the bend or action of the rod is a key factor.
